1. 440 Ordinations to priesthood expected in 2010
2. Average age of men being ordained is 37
3. The median age of men being ordained is 33
4. Those responding said they were about 18 when they first considered a priestly vocation
5. 78 percent of the men being ordained were encouraged by a priest to consider the priesthood
6. 85 percent of the men being ordained have seen the film Fishers of Men
7. Two thirds of the men report regularly praying the Rosary and participating in Eucharistic Adoration before entering the seminary.
8. The youngest man being ordained is 25, while 11 men over the age of 65 are being ordained
