A Spiritual Direction and Time to Explore
Discernment is wanting to really think about your true vocation through the help of the Holy Spirit. Where are you headed in your life. What are you doing with the gifts from God? What are you doing to get the answer to your future? What should you notice? Do you feel that your life is not where it is supposed to be and what you are doing is not what is in your heart? A Calling by God is beyond any amount of money, prestige, or dream you could ever imagine. Have you ever really thought that you are being Called by God? The scriptures tells us that it was Jesus who said, "You have not chosen me. I have chosen you."
We all know that so many decisions in life are not simple. So you can't wait for someone to knock on your door and tell you that you have a Call. Rather, a discernment is often a matter of becoming aware of something that is already there, a yearning, a desire for more. Be a chosen one!
